Force It!

Forcing a new source into CSources2.

Some sources are permanently dead, or just inactive at the time you attempted to add them to Cydia or CSources2. Forcing a new repository will create a new source for Cydia to use if toggled on. Internet and repository verification will not be performed when forcing a new source. If you use Force It to add a new source it is recommended to mark the source as dead after you add them.

If a source you added using Force It is an invalid source, when you press Apply, which updates the Cydia sources. Cydia will most likely give an error and/or hang. CSources2 will have similar results when refreshing a source using the details page of the sources refresh button. Or when using the Restore feature if the sources is not Marked as Dead.
