Web Link File Importing

Creating a web link for downloading and importing sources into CSources2.

➣(Creating .cxpt file):

1. Using CSources2, use Send Friend and email yourself a list of sources that you want to share via Email or a web link. The file that CSources2 will generate & email will have a file extension of .cxpt. (somelist.cxpt).
2. Once you have this file, you can upload it to any server (DropBox etc.) & Create a link on your server.

• Server Support v600.830-0 & up , iOS 6 – 8
• DropBox Support v600.840-2 & up, iOS 6 – 8

.cxpt files folder:

/private/var/mobile/Library/Application Support/Containers/com.dirtybeans.CSources2/Documents/Inbox/

➣(Rules):

1. Link must be a downloadable file with an extension of .cxpt. CSources2 will not download or recognize a link that does not have this extension.
2. .cxpt file must be generated using Send Friend Feature.

“CSources2 is not designed to handle fake/Non CSouces2  .cxpt files”.

➣(Download & Import a .cxpt link file): via CSources2 Browser Page.

1. Using the CSources2 Browser located on the (i)nfo page, either enter the link in the address bar, or go to the site which contains a selectable .cxpt link. (Link Example)
2. After Selecting link, CSources2 will automatically want to download and will ask you.
3. If you choose Yes, CSources2 will download the ????.cxpt file, and notify you that a “Friends List is Ready”, with the name of the file you downloaded.
4. Press Close.
5. Your Done. Review Import Friends List to import your new .cxpt file.

➣(Download & Import a .cxpt link file): via Safari

1. Go to the site which contains a selectable .cxpt link.
2. Select the .cxpt link. (Link Example)
3. If DropBox app is installed, go to step 5.
4. If DropBox app is NOT installed, Install it and create an account. (It’s Free).
5. The DropBox app should open automatically and the .cxpt file will be displayed.
6. On the top right is the share button. Press it and the Open In App feature will show “Open In…”.
7. Select “Open In…”
8. Another Open In will appear, Select “Open in CSources2”
9. CSources2 should open if not already.
10. If CSources2 is already running in the background it will show, “Friends List is Ready” Press Close.
11. If CSources2 is NOT running, it will open and will show, “Friends List is Ready” Press Yes to save file.
12. New imported .cxpt file has been saved to the CSources2 Inbox Folder.
13. Your Done. Review Import Friends List to import your new .cxpt file.
